Transparent, matte glaze goes best with light clays.
On coloured clays the glaze very easily forms a white veil on the clay's surface.
Same happens on top of underglazes and engobes, which removes the intencity of the colour. For example the cobal blue dot on the image has turned dimmer.
Jos haluat vähemmän kiiltävän lasitepinnan värien päälle, kannattaa laittaa tosi ohut kerros kirkasta, kiiltävää lasitetta.
