Sculpting requires sometimes thicker layer of clay that can cause cracking and problems during drying and firing.
Magma Fine Sculpture is spiked with selected chamotte grades.
This allows small shrinkage while maintaining excellent workabililty and good thermal shock durability.
Firing range: 1200 - 1300°C, Biscuit firing 950 - 1000°C.
Expansion at 500°C: 0.240
Total shrinkage: 10.0%
Firing colour: Natural white / ivory.
Composition: 6 (1 = smooth - 10 = coarse)
Chamotte: 0-0,5mm 40%
